Purpose of UMW
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be
a community of women whose purpose is to know God and
to experience freedom as whole personsthrough Jesus Christ;
to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and
to expand concepts of mission through participation
in the global ministries of the church.
All ladies at JRUMC are invited and encouraged to be a part of United Methodist Women (UMW). There's no better way to make new friends and reconnect with old friends!

Even though we will not have
regularly scheduled monthly meetings in 2010, there are plenty of activities
and events for all of us to participate in. The following is a re-cap of
things to come with the name of the person(s) coordinating that activity.

We need home made cookies (6
cookies to a bag) to be given to visitors during the Live Nativity. Have
your cookies at the church no later than 10:00 on December 4.
